The trade deadline came and went and the Red Sox did almost nothing to help themselves this season. Choosing not to jump in on pitching seemed like a huge risk. But passing on Anthony Rizzo was just plain wrong with 1st base and another big bat tops on the needs list. The American League East got considerably better except for Boston and it’s now starting to show as they slide down the standings! Keep up the great work!
